Why Holistic Yoga with Lisa?
I combine my yoga teaching, trauma sensitive training and more than 20 years of holistic therapist experience to bring you these unique classes that focus not only on asana (poses) but on you as a whole being. We will practice paying attention to breath, to the sensations in the body, to the thinking mind and the noise it creates. We will become aware of our whole selves, and we'll let that awareness lead us back to our breath, to the present moment - the only place where life exists.
As is the case in all of my classes - there's no instruction, only invitation and teaching, this is your practice, so everything is optional!
Please bring a mat!
All blankets, blocks, and straps are provided, if you have your own feel free to bring them, but props will be available for use, except for mats, you must bring your own mat.
